The expression “go berserk” refers to an historical faction of Nordic warriors known for their fierce conduct in battle – the Berserkers.  Now imagine that the moon has eclipsed the sun, the Angel of Darkness has spread its wings, and you are pursued relentlessly by blood-thirsty demons ... and your only salvation is to fight against Fate itself?  Tell me you wouldn't go berserk.
