As far as reptiles go, sea turtles are pretty cute. They’re also one of the oldest species of animals on the planet, having swum alongside the dinosaurs 120 million years ago. This hatching sea turtle with its jaunty expression will happily liven up your home or garden. The turtle, with its long life and deliberate movements, literally carries its home on its back; it perfectly represents, and reminds us of the virtues of, wisdom, patience, endurance and self-sufficiency.

Reproduced from our original sculpture, the turtle is rotocast with durable resin and back filled with a high density rigid foam, yielding a casting that's lighter in weight while maintaining superior strength and enviromental resistance. It is painted with a durable bronze metal coating and finished with a traditional Tiffany green patina. The sculpture is sealed with several coats of clear protective lacquer with a satin finish that enhances that the rich bronze color and makes it perfectly suitable for exterior display.
